The 15th Tropicale Amissa Bongo will take place from January 20th to 26th. The route has just been formalized by the hightest authorities of Gabon. The Grand Départ of the 2020 edition will start from the Woleu-Ntem Province in Northern Gabon, and will cross a total of five Provinces but also two countries: Gabon and neighboring Cameroon.
The Gabonese event, which remains the oldest race at the top of the African cycling hierarchy, was already part of the Woleu-Ntem in 2014, with the duel between the very experienced Spanish rider Luis Leon Sanchez and the Eritrean talent Natnael Berhane who won finally for a few seconds in advance in Libreville.
